Sophie Ménard is a practitioner, researcher, educator, and executive coach who is passionate about helping people, teams, and organizations thrive in times of change. Throughout her career, she has been fascinated by a fundamental question: What enables individuals and organizations to grow, adapt, and flourish in complex and evolving environments?
Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in leadership development, adult learning, organizational development, and change leadership, Sophie helps leaders and teams navigate uncertainty with greater courage, resilience, and clarity. She believes that sustainable organizational success begins with healthy workplaces, meaningful relationships, and leaders who are committed to their own growth and the growth of others.
Sophie holds a Ph.D. in Education and specializes in leadership development through executive coaching and experiential, competency-based learning. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation, a Certified Integral Master Coach™, and a certified Prosci Change Management Practitioner.
Since 2001, Sophie has held several senior leadership roles, including Director of Leadership, Culture and Health at the University of Montreal, Director of Leadership, Learning and Organizational Development at the University of Ottawa, Director of Undergraduate Studies at Saint Paul University, and Director General of a psychometric assessment company.
She continues to teach and conduct research as an adjunct professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa, where her interests include adult learning, executive coaching, leadership development, and transformational learning.
Known for her thoughtful, energetic, and strategic approach, Sophie partners with leaders and teams to transform insight into meaningful action and lasting momentum.
She is mindful of her own development and growth, recognizing that the most important instrument in coaching is the coach herself. Through continuous learning and self-reflection, she seeks to provide her clients with greater presence, depth, and discernment.
